Ingraham Book Sales Explode After Limbaugh Mention
Again demonstrating the power of key conservative figures to move books, a discussion of syndicated radio host Laura Ingraham's new volume on the Rush Limbaugh Show led to an instant sales spike. The review, sans author interview, lasted seven minutes.
Just before the talk titan began his discussion, at 1pm on Thursday, Ingraham's Power To The People was in the sixty- first position in the broadest bestsellers category at Amazon.com.
Almost immediately after Rush began his on- air review of the book, however, it began to rise, moving quickly into the number two position. Within hours, it took first place, catching the Drudge Report's attention.
It that doesn't seem impressive enough on its own, consider its highly- publicized competition: Bill Clinton's Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World, which slid out of the top ten today, moving into position 24 overall.
And far more significant, Ingraham's release is ahead of the Goldman rewrite of OJ Simpson's If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer, which was in first place earlier yesterday. With OJ back in the news today, Laura's competition couldn't be more fierce.
Note: Ian Schwartz has a video clip of Laura talking about her book here.

I monitored her joke of a show the other night, and she had some useful idiot fans of hers out in the malls on release night, screaming at store managers because her books weren't unpacked yet, or weren't receiving top billing, even personally berating one harried shop clerk over the phone...
I can't imagine any progressive author pulling such a stunt (but, then again, I can't imagine anyone else faking a serious illness for personal gain, either)....
God help us, I pray this vicious, soulless rag is torpedoed soon!
Lousy taste in bumper music, as well.

Neither can I. That's why the last time you made that accusation, I asked you for a source. Your response, while full of vitriol against Ms. Ingraham and name-calling, ducked the question entirely.
So, care to put up an actual source for your statement this time, or do you just want to call me names? Because I still haven't found anything to corroborate your story.
Thx :)

Ingraham is one of the most popular talk hosts out there, pulling numbers the libs could only dream of. Great books, too, and yes she was definitely ill. (When I mentioned her coming down with breast cancer on radio-info.com, some tolerant,
loving libs started to savage her.
So much for sympathy and love...
right out of Malkin's "Unhinged"
files...)
"Where's the BOOK!" It's #1
in political books and #2
overall on amazon.com as I
type this. (I got mine a week
before the publication date--
Borders in Burlington, VT,
where I was for a Labor Day
weekend trip, had it.)

A mention on Rush's show is good for a huge surge in business.
If he mentions your website, it's likely the host's server is going to have a melt down.
A few weeks back, the owner of The People's Cube website called in after Rush had mentioned his website the previous day. I immediately tried to go to the guy's website and it was already inaccessible.
Don't know how many times I've read on a blog that Rush mentioned them and that's why they had gone off line for a period during the day.
But hey, no one listens to Limbaugh. His numbers are inflated and he's a phony. Oh, yeah, and none of them buy anyting. Those were fake sales of Laura's book. It's a conspiracy between Amazon and the RNC and the VRWC.
hashead, you're a despicable, scurrilous liar. If the best you can do is sling lies about Laura faking cancer, you should just hang it up.
And she doesn't care if you like her bumper music. In fact, none of us care about you, period.

I love it when an unhinged lieberal bedwetting moonbat suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome, proves that they are intolerant, mean spirited, and hateful with their very words.
It happens so often.
Bill O'Reilly is right. The leftists of this country are just vile punks.
By JohnSteinbeck, at 15 September, 2007 04:32
Oh, it's just the moonbattery.com dirtbags checking in...
Trust me, no one would find her untimely demise funnier than I...regrettably, such was not to be.
Maybe screwing around with disgraced New Jersey politicians proved too toxic for even such a milk-fed young maiden's well-being to withstand?

>>proves that they are intolerant, mean spirited, and hateful with their very words.
the latest is James Brolin's "Happy

James Brolin is an intellectual giant, an amazingly talented actor, and a true American.

(progressive = left leaning moonbat)
Well, the world is full of progressive authors and news people pulling stunts that come back to bite them in the a$$.
Take the most recent one: Alexis Debat, a consultant for CBS with dozens of fraudulent interviews - just another classic example of the liberal left Mass Media and their lax biased investigative practices.
If it is “too good to be true”, or just too politically correct to be true, take it with a grain of salt - several grains if from The New York Times, The Boston Globe, The New Republic, NPR, CNN or Reuters.
Here are just a few other examples: Scott Beauchamp, Jayson Blair, Dan Rather, Mary Mapes, Eason Jordan, Stephen Glass, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Mark Halperin, Jesse MacBeth, Eric Slater, Nina Totenberg. The list goes on and on.
All these libs were caught with their hands in the “biased progressive cookie jar”.
By The Benson Report, at 15 September, 2007 13:00
Yawn...apart from Rather, which was a widely discredited neocon hit job from day one, that Rather simply couldn't be bothered to do battle with, and the Beauchamp smear, which can be actually be laid at the hands of a few overzealous mildorks, nobody knows anything about your so-called "scandals", and nobody cares...
Oh, and we're not interested in your bellyaching about the New York Times, Maureen Dowd, yadda yadda yadda...if you don't like this nation's respectable media outlets, and want to spew AIPAC-driven, "free-market" palaver until your cows come home, concentrate on developing your own blog.
Your raison d'etre appears to be limited to busting on Hillary Clinton, who was never a talk-show host, and Al Franken, who has not been on the radio for almost a year. If these topics are enough to sustain whatever internal dialogues they foster within your mind, mazel tov! You're an easy man to please....but it makes for awfully boring, uninformative reading here.
Al Franken is a boring individual, Hillary Clinton is usually a boring individual, and you, benson-hurst, have become unspeakably boring, with your droll commentaries and lists of alleged facts that just don't matter in the final analysis.
You are not an "insider", you have nothing to contribute that tens of thousands of Midwestern farm boys couldn't, and you do not make yourself appear any more intellectual, learned, sophisticated, or "renegade" by taking current events and twisting the tedious details of what is essentially the same stupid story to fit an irrelevant agenda that America is shampooing out of its louse-ridden hair.
Go back to moonbattery.com, take up sculpting and create a bust of Larry Kudlow, masturbate to Ardolino clips for all I care, but , for the love of God or whatever you hold holy, benson-hurst, don't go on with THIS.
It's pathetic.
Just my two shekels.

Nice try... you want to appear bored. But that does not jive with reality and your attempted lame and rambling rebuttal (6+ paragraphs long).
Also:
nobody knows anything about your so-called "scandals", and nobody cares...
Another classic wacko left response. The liberals hope these examples of fraud and deceit will just go away by "sweeping them under the rug".
It won't happen!

Benson, after Betray-us, nobody's in the mood for more lies from YOU.

Like all right wing books, which I would not even use to clean cat urine stains in my apartment, in 2 weeks, the shelves will be overstocked with her crap and the "book" will be on sale for $7.00
As far as I'm concerned the bitch should be in jail for trying to tamper with the 2006 election. A disgustuing, vle, bitch.
I will never forget what that cu*t tried on election eve. Phone jamming, a favorite trick of the degenrate right.
How much longer will the 12%ers hold this country back? I don't think we have to tolerate these moonbat Bush sheep anymore. Just start kicking righties in the head, F*CK EM. They don't control the political discourse any longer.
The same way the right threatened violence in 2000 forcing the end of the recount, time to take up arms , and chase the f*ckers out of America.
By Unknown, at 15 September, 2007 22:47
How much longer will the 12%ers hold this country back?
You mean the 12% who believe the democrat led Congress is doing a good job? That 12%?
By John, at 16 September, 2007 05:20
Laura Ingraham definitely has hair for radio. Seriously, did she set out to look like a Plano, Texas real estate saleswoman or did that just happen?
By LonewackoDotCom, at 16 September, 2007 19:56
"You mean the 12% who believe the democrat led Congress is doing a good job? That 12%?"
Irrelevant...what America is frustrated with is the Dems' every move being frustrated by the fascist tactics of the neocons, their hopeless and unnecessary commitment to bipartisanship, which cannot be achieved with moneychangers and religious fanatics, and their unwillingness to impeach.
"Seriously, did she set out to look like a Plano, Texas real estate saleswoman or did that just happen?"
You bring up a good point, but Ingraham can hardly trot herself out as a typical conservoslut when she's trying to reinvent herself as Mother Angelica on steroids....
Actually, the buzz on this book should be amusing, and revealing, about the state of religious tolerance in America.
By hashfanatic, at 16 September, 2007 20:40
Yo, Jared? I really need an answer to this question... you wrote: As far as I'm concerned the bitch should be in jail for trying to tamper with the 2006 election. A disgustuing, vle, bitch.
I will never forget what that cu*t tried on election eve. Phone jamming, a favorite trick of the degenrate right.
I'll put aside the screwed spelling, but I desperately need to know: you'd already called her a "bitch," so what the hell is up with using that asterisk?
By Unknown, at 17 September, 2007 13:24
HF,
Are you planning to answer my request for a source, or what? 'Cos simply repeating unverifiable accusations does nothing to bolster your arguments...
