Proving he can outdo all of his colleagues in the field of over-the-top oratory, MSNBC's Ed Schultz has contributed his own reckless, incendiary language.
Here's the transcript and clip from his syndicated radio program:
Beyond Schultz's "dead pool" predictions, the oddest aspect of his on-air rant is the tacit admission that Obama's policies are socialist and Marxist in nature. Isn't that supposed to be a secret, Ed?
And wasn't Jerry Springer a liberal talk host for several years? How quickly we forget.
Most importantly, while CNN's Lou Dobbs continues to take heat on cable for comments made during his radio program, isn't it time to apply that same standard to everyone else performing that dual role?

SCHULTZ (Tuesday 11 August 2009 - 01:42): It's almost as if every one of these town hall meetings is turning into "The Jerry Springer Show". And there are many Americans right now who are starting to fear for the safety of the president of the United States. All over health reform. Folks, these people are psycho, that's what they are.
SCHULTZ (04:53): Sometimes I think they want Obama to get shot. I do! I really think that there are conservative broadcasters in this country who would love to see Obama taken out. They *fear* socialism, they fear Marxism. They fear that the United States of America won't be the United States of America anymore.

Tell me, what words have been written or spoken by you and the other anti-Americans like Beck over the past few weeks that haven't been "reckless, incendiary language." Because if you can identify a single sentence, you have the advantage of me, sir.
But really, as to your late respondent, obviously recently brain dead, "it's not racism because if you hate a biracial president you halfway hate yourself" has got to be the most breathtakingly stupid thing I've ever read in my long life. What standing on the edge of the Hoover Dam is to sensations of wonder at what we Americans can do when we put our heads together, that comment is to legendary remarks that will stick with me for years when I think about just how half-baked the so-dumb-they-were-bought-for-free conservatives have finally become.
But it's extremely gratifying to see that such a commenter is capable of exercising the buttons on the keyboard with such great acuity, I suspect that our host, Brian Maloney, is very proud of you, and I'm certain that if you can do it, anyone can!

Interesting! Everytime I think about just 'giving up' on any political party, I read something stupid like this and then I have a change of heart. As bad as I think the Republican party is, the Dems are worse, especially their 'mouthpieces' in the media.
I don't ever wish to see the POTUS shot. I just want him and his 'posse' in congress to 'njoy' the same things that they want to cram down our throats.
Better yet, I'd like to see the POTUS have to sit through a word by word reading of his Stimulus and and National Health bills by Pelosi. Now THAT would be much worse than a bullet!

That statement is not true at all. The United States would end up with another idiot called Biden. And if Biden was also shot another stooge called Pelosi would take over. The United States is in a hopeless situation and it is getting worse.

No, Obama needs to go the way of Jimmy Carter, a "one and done" abject failure of a president, and he's off to a great start on that.
I don't even care if he follows the Carter post-presidency plan, 40 years of increasingly deranged rambling public stands and pronouncements as he slips ever deeper into dementia. It's pretty obvious that Slick Willy is following the same game plan.
At least Republican ex-presidents have the decency to just shut up and let their successors to their jobs.

I am as conservative as they get. I don't believe in assassination of our own political leaders when they can easily be removed. Sorry, anon, but look at the facts. That was Dirksen's legislation, it was Republican votes that passed it. Meanwhile, it was Democrats like Byrd, Gore, Fulbright, Wallace, Faubus, et al., in opposition and leading the filibusters trying to kill the Civil Rights legislation.

LBJ had to convince the racist Democrats to stop their 73-day filibuster to even get a vote on the bill. Al Gore, Sr. introduced an amendment to take the teeth out of the Act but it was defeated 74-25. Only one Republican was among that amendment's 25 racist supporters.
Democrats controlled southern politics during all the decades of lynchings and racial injustice in the south and they wanted it to continue! You liberals need to learn some history!

The stalinist machine is just going to keep on grinding. They own the networks, the markets and now the house,senate and executive and they are driving home the stake in the heart of America. Political payoffs to a new underclass and voter fraud will give them an iron grip on this country until it is disassembled.
The real battle grounds are the elections, the election rules, the judiciary and the "ownership" of the press. These four items taken together can capture the apparatus of fair play and turn a free country into a dictatorship.
That is why you have seen the left invest so heavily in these areas, weaken voting rules, empower acorn, takeover the census, play such hardball on judicial appointments, promote ACLU agressive actions and act so ruthlessly in the placement of liberals/socialists in broadcast, news and entertainment.
What to do?
The tea parties and town hall meeting turnouts have been a very tiny step in the right direction.
There must be a concentration of effort on the next congressional elections, with a mind to counter every abuse of the left. ACORN has been granted billions of dollars in stimulus money to assist in "voter turnout" and performning the census. THERE MUST BE AN EFFORT TO COUNTER THIS. and it can be done better that them if you have the guts for it. The outcome will be a halt to the fraudulent use of absentee ballots. ACORN obtains thousands of absentee ballots and pays its workers to shove these into the hands of "voters". When the "voters" don't care enough to fill out the ballot, ACORN does it for them. When the "voter" doesn't care to even talk to ACORN, ACORN just uses their social security number.
SO
I am not suggesting that anyone do exactly what ACORN does. But we all need to get some of those forms too and perform some "voter outreach" of our own. Only after the libs get blown out this way, will they lobby for voter verification and a return to sane voter practices.
On top of that we must ACT UP and counter every action the left has taken, in order to take back the country and return it to freedom.

Appropos of the mention by Ed of Jerry Springer, a local radio station in New Orleans carried the full line-up of Air America--Springer, Randi Rhodes, Mike Mulloy, et al--plus Ed Shultz for a few months a couple of years or so ago and Springer was the most reasoned, logical, thoughtful one of the bunch. Tells you something doesn't it? (Of course one doesn't get elected Mayor in a conservative city like Cincy unless one is pretty close to the center mass.).
