KEITH OSAMA OLBAMA

When It Comes To Osama, Lefties Say The Weirdest Things

What is it about Osama Bin Laden that causes lefty politicians and media figures to react so strangely? Thanks to Keith Olbermann, we now have another example of Osama- inspired weirdness to add to our collection.

First, Rush Limbaugh was right on the mark Friday in calling attention to the way our mainstream media salivate every time a "new" Osama videotape is released. If bin Laden is still out there, they want us to believe, it means Bush isn't winning the War On Terror.

And that's exactly what fuelled MSNBC crackpot Keith Olberman's fire Friday evening, but as he tried to compare the al-Qaeda terrorist leader to Sean Hannity and the Media Research Center's Brent Bozell, he took the conversation straight to Neptune.

From the MRC's Brent Baker:

In what he no doubt considered cutting edge humor, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann on Friday night contended that Sean Hannity, just like Osama bin Laden, “rants without making a specific threat or point,” and MRC President/NewsBusters Publisher Brent Bozell, also just like bin Laden, “makes vague threats, is cranky and has a bad dye job on his beard.”

“So he's Sean Hannity?” Olbermann asked rhetorically immediately after he teased Countdown by describing how in the new Osama bin Laden video “he criticizes congressional Democrats and just rants without making a specific threat or point.” As Olbermann uttered Hannity's name, MSNBC inserted a picture of Hannity over the image of bin Laden in the new video.

A half hour later, with “Finding Bin Laden” on screen under the bin Laden image, Olbermann plugged the upcoming segment by comparing the physical appearance and attitude of the terrorist with Bozell: “And he criticizes the Democrats, makes vague threats, is cranky and has a bad dye job on his beard. Brent Bozell? No, there's another Osama bin Laden tape. Wasn't the President going to catch him dead or alive six years ago?” Bozell has a beard, but it's not dyed.

Keith Olbama, welcome to the Unhinged Osama Mamas Hall Of Fame! Your plaque will go right next to these charter inductees:

In 2002, US Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) blamed America for Osama's "popularity" abroad, falsely claiming that bin Laden was busy building Afghanistan's infrastructure:

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Patty Murray intended to be provocative when she told a group of high school students terrorist leader Osama bin Laden is popular in poor countries because he helped pay for schools, roads and even day care centers.

"We haven't done that," Murray said. "How would they look at us today if we had been there helping them with some of that rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan?"

Murray's remarks, to a group of students in Vancouver, Wash., started even more discussion than she expected after they were published Thursday in The Columbian newspaper of Vancouver and then picked up by The Associated Press.

By Friday, the Murray story was the lead item on the "Drudge Report" Web site and a main topic for talk show host Sean Hannity and other conservative pundits.

Murray's comments sparked national debate on talk radio and prompted readers to bombard the Web site of The Columbian, the Vancouver newspaper that first printed Murray's remarks.

"Between (Murray) and Baghdad Jim (McDermott) I'm surprised the rest of the country even lets Washington send reps to DC anymore," wrote one e-mailer, identified only as robertb.

And, in 2005, Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) just couldn't get Osama off of his mind when asked about Senator Barack Hussein Obama (D-IL):

MODERATOR: This person asks, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois was elected with over 80 percent of the vote, and over a million of those voters were also President Bush voters. What did Senator Obama do that Senator Kerry and other Democrats not do?

And do you think the Democrats need to move toward the center to recapture the majority position?

And finally, If a Democrat wins the next presidential election, what are the most difficult problems he or she will face in 2008?

KENNEDY: There you go.

Why don't we just ask Osama bin -- Osama Obama -- Obama what -- since he won by such a big amount. Seriously, Senator Obama is really unique and special.

As it's sure to inspire more knee- slapping funny left- wing insanity, let's hope "Osama" decides to make a few more tapes in the coming weeks and months.

Sounds like the same exact thing the GOP did to Max Cleland runnig in Senate against tht disgusting degenerate Saxby Chamblis VETERAN opf the Vietnam War.

Where was the outrage then Brian? Ohhh thats right, the REpublicans were doing the smearing.
Once conclude rian respects a hack talk show host more than a vetean and Senator because of the letter "D"

interesting. I would superimpose a picture of a retard drooling over Hannity's face.

but, at least the Kennedy quote was funny. I will give you that, got a laugh. TEd Kennedy will always be a person the right mocks, but sometimes it's amusing.
