Rush Limbaugh, Hillary Clinton, Hispanic Presidential Debate

IT'S RUSH'S FAULT

In Televised Panderfest, Hillary Points Fingers

Endeavoring to out- pander one another during a televised presidential debate for Hispanics held Sunday, Democrats cranked the rhetoric up to "11". And a full two days later, a backlash is still brewing against the divisive methods they used to court the Latino vote.

Not to be outdone by her primary opponents, Hillary Clinton went right for the most convenient targets, accusing Republican leaders and Rush Limbaugh in particular of outright racism, according to the New York Times:

MIAMI, Sept. 9 — Democratic presidential candidates courted the fast-growing Hispanic electorate on Sunday night by debating on a Spanish-language television network, where they promised to swiftly overhaul the immigration system and accused Republicans and President Bush of stoking anti-Hispanic sentiment.

The three leading candidates, Senators Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Barack Obama of Illinois and former Senator John Edwards of North Carolina, had especially sharp criticism for leaders of the Republican Party. They expressed concerns that Republicans were enabling anti-immigrant feelings and even racist attitudes, or at least not taking a tougher stand against them.

Mrs. Clinton said legislative proposals to overhaul the immigration system, which all the Democrats at the debate endorsed, had been used by Republicans and some in the news media to “bash immigrants” and engage in demagoguery.

“The Republican candidates need to understand that they are doing a great disservice to our country,” she said.

Later, Mrs. Clinton added: “There are many in the political and frankly in the broadcast world today who take a particular aim at our Latino population. I think it’s very destructive.” A spokesman for Mrs. Clinton said after the debate that she was referring to the CNN anchor Lou Dobbs and the radio host Rush Limbaugh, among others.

Mr. Obama, who is seeking strong support from both black and Hispanic voters, recalled a telegram the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. sent to Cesar Chavez when the two men were each involved in protest strikes. The telegram read, “Our separate struggles are one.”

From the Times piece, it's quite clear Hillary was struggling to out- pander Obama, who may have had a lock on the "I feel your pain" concept first developed by her husband.

At the same time, let's boil this down to a simple question: Hillary, can you point to a specific example of racism by Rush Limbaugh when he covered the issue of amnesty for illegal aliens?

When examining Hillary's motives, it's also important to note that Rush has been pounding away at Clinton and her campaign for taking hundreds of thousands of dollars from a fugitive. Levelling sloppy racism charges against a key critic is a great way to deflect attention away from her own scandals.

  • Mrs. Clinton said "legislative proposals to overhaul the immigration system... had been used by Republicans ... to “bash immigrants”...

    What a crock of sheet!

This a classic example of how Clinton tries to twist the truth. Fortunately, most Americans can see through her pile of crap.

    The issue is not immigrants.
    The issue is ILLEGAL ALIENS.

  • Examples of Racism by the pig man

remember his T.V show, when he showed a monkey on the screen while talking about "welfare mothers"

or his disgusting remarks about Katrina victims?

    or this one....

LIMBAUGH: Yeah. This is -- you're not going to believe this, but it's very simple. And the sooner you believe it, and the sooner you let this truth permeate the boundaries you have that tell you this is just simply not possible, the better you will understand Democrats in everything. You are right. They want to get us out of Iraq, but they can't wait to get us into Darfur.

    CALLER: Right.

LIMBAUGH: There are two reasons. What color is the skin of the people in Darfur?

    CALLER: Uh, yeah.

LIMBAUGH: It's black. And who do the Democrats really need to keep voting for them? If they lose a significant percentage of this voting bloc, they're in trouble.

CALLER: Yes. Yes. The black population.

LIMBAUGH: Right. So you go into Darfur and you go into South Africa, you get rid of the white government there. You put sanctions on them. You stand behind Nelson Mandela -- who was bankrolled by communists for a time, had the support of certain communist leaders. You go to Ethiopia. You do the same thing.

So Hillary is 100% correct, your so immune to racism, you do not even notice it Brian

limbaugh lowered the medium of radio to new lows, and you still defend him?

Cons are trash, bottom line, Maloney is a vile pig, guilt by association. I sincerely hope Limbaugh overdoses, radio and the country would be a better place.

Maloney will suck Limbaugh's flacid c*ck to the day he dies.

see you in the men's room boys.

  • There's an extremely effective way to deal with comments like these, but very few people are willing to do it. Most would rather just wring their hands instead of spending a few minutes to do something:

    1. Go to a Hillary appearance and videotape yourself asking her this.

    2. Upload the response and promote it.

    3. Repeat until she starts losing support.
