There's still more on the AIR AMERICA RADIO-GLORIA WISE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB loan scandal, as conservative bloggers MICHELLE MALKIN and BRIAN MALONEY continue to report on the question of the improper loans of public funds by the club to the network.
The latest involves the pair's reporting that the network's current VP of Finance SINOHE TERRERO worked as finance director of the GLORIA WISE clun from 2000-2002 under AAR's original head EVAN MONTVEL COHEN. Reports that TERRERO has resigned from the network are as yet unconfirmed, and ALL ACCESS' request for a comment from the network and TERRERO have been unanswered.
The network has denied that its present ownership has any legal responsibility to pay back the loan despite its appearance on a list of liabilities in a "settlement agreement" signed by COHEN, former partner REX SORENSEN, the current owners, and host AL FRANKEN in late 2004, but says it has put the disputed amount in escrow held by its own attorney to be paid back at the conclusion of a city and state investigation.

Somehow, I rather hope that Air America doesn't collapse because of this scandal.
I'd rather see it collapse from lack of ratings. That can't be too far off.
Here in Dallas, it appears that their primary sponsor is "The Energy Hog"....and Air America is also very, very, very concerned that one of your loved ones drinks.

Air America has not paid back the "loan" from the poor children and disabled. Their lawyers still control the money. What they did is so much worse than anything Martha Stewart ever did.
