Tucker Carlson, Al Franken, MSNBC, Janeane Garofalo
FRANKEN-HUH?
Venezuela? Never Heard Of The Place!
A couple of our old friends are busy keeping us entertained this weekend:
In one of his most bizarre interviews ever, Al Franken struggles to come up with answers to MSNBC host Tucker Carlson's most basic questions, including thoughts on Hugo Chavez's now- infamous unhinged visit to the US.
Only after extensive hand- holding during an oppressively lengthy segment did Al's mind begin to thaw. This guy's either very tired or just doesn't feel the need to take MSNBC seriously. It's the very definition of "phoning it in".
Take a look for yourself:
Note that Al isn't listed as an Air America Radio host at the bottom of the screen (what you do see, in red, was added by the YouTube uploader). When asked about the network, Franken sure didn't make a convincing case for its continuing operation.
Meanwhile, ex- Air America host Janeane Garofalo gives GQ a doozy for their October issue: does she actually find Bill O'Reilly attractive?

Janeane Garofalo shares this recollection: "Literally one moment before you go on, he comes and says hello, and it's like 'Oh, my God,' because he's six feet five, and I find that to be a turn-on -- my boyfriend at the time was six four.
So unfortunately, the first time I met Bill O'Reilly, it was an attractive thing. I guess I assumed he was a short guy, because he's so pugnacious. He still has the Napoleon complex while being six five -- that's what kind of an a--hole he is."

Yes, but Franken doesn't speak for the average left-of-center voter any more than O'Reilly and Savage speak for the right, so, ultimately, who cares? He's just another personality (who I personally don't care for), but he appears to have something of a following, so I'll let his fans and critics dissect his persona....I'd rather push strong patriots like Rhodes, Seder, and Malloy, who DO speak for me.
As for Garofalo...who HASN'T been physically attracted to someone they turn out to despise? Duh....
Maybe that's what happened in the White House with Jeff Gannon...

I don't blame Franken for not taking Carlson seriously. Carlson obviously fellated or brown nosed to get his job, he is a certifiable HACK.
Who cares who Garaffalo is attracted to. Who cares about Garaffalo, period. She is a supporting actress, with minimial political knowledge. She dragged Sedar down. Best move EVER on A.A was dumoping Garaffalo

Tucker really has been reaching out to AAR hosts recently. he's had on at least 5 different hosts in the last 2 or 3 weeks. it just seems odd to me that those are the people he chooses to have on his show all the time. not there's anything wrong with it in my opinion - i prefer the AAR hosts to Tucker any day, but why he consistently chooses AAR hosts just seems odd for a conservative.

He probably chooses them for to a couple reasons:
1.) The AAR hosts unwittingly give the audience something to laugh about. Tucker should add Olby to his list of entertaining buffoons.
2.) It also is wonderful fodder for the radio talk shows.
