Libtalker Malloy: I Hope Glenn Beck Kills Himself

DO IT LIVE, GLENN

Libtalker Takes Hate Speech To New Level

*** EXCLUSIVE TO THE RADIO EQUALIZER ***
*** NEW: FRESHLY UPDATED HERE ***

Proving that liberal
talk radio still has new frontiers of bad taste to explore, syndicated host Mike Malloy has openly called for FOX News Channel host Glenn Beck to commit suicide, something he hopes will occur live and on the air.

Heard during yesterday's Malloy program, it's the second time in a week that the former WLS/ Chicago talker has called for the death of one of his political opponents. Earlier, he said he hoped Rush Limbaugh would "choke to death".

Here's a transcript and clip of his sickening call for Beck's demise:

MALLOY (3:50): I have a good news to report; Glenn Beck appears closer to suicide - I'm hoping that he does it on camera; suicide is rampant in his family, and given his alcoholism and his tendencies towards self-destruction, I am only hoping that when Glen Beck does put a gun to his head and pulls the trigger, that it will be on television, because somebody will capture it on YouTube and it will be the most popular video for months.

We'll let this speak for itself.

  • This bitter little man has never grown up. Just like the kid in school who would do or say anything to get attention, this 67 year old man needs to have people pay attention to him. Since he cannot do so by putting out a quality radio program, he's trying to be provactive. But his problem is that he sucks at both.

It is time for Malloy to grow the up & understand he is not as important as he believes he is. Face it, Mike, your rating suck, & the numbers never lie. Maybe it's time to put you out to pasture & give someone younger with some fresh ideas behind your mic, you have had more then your share of second chances. Then again, nobody cares, & that may be the biggest slight of all.

  • Where can I hear ol' Mike now? Last I heard he was on a few stations, total night power not enough to light my backyard. Maybe he has picked up more.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05 August, 2009 17:19

  • I looked it up. He claims 13 affiliates, some in major markets, plus satellite. Most are small sticks, but it's not as bad as I thought.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05 August, 2009 17:33

  • How classy. btw according to "On This Day" in the Boston Globe (perused for free in the laundromat) the Fairness Doctrine was repealed on this day in 1987.

By Blogger raccoonradio, at 05 August, 2009 19:48

  • In point of fact, Malloy is NOT hoping that Beck Kills himself. He is suggesting that Beck is already potentially suicidal (for which there is evidence) and that IF he were to pull the trigger, Malloy hopes it occurs on air.

Admittedly, that is still a disturbing hope, but not the same as hoping that he kills himself.

By Anonymous News Corpse, at 05 August, 2009 19:52

  • Hmmm...Malloy's comments sound like a desperate attempt to get listeners. I wonder if rumors have been going around that Malloy may be dropped if ratings don't improve. It's an interesting possibility since Malloy clearly has no substance to his meandering monologues.

By Blogger Carl, at 05 August, 2009 20:59

  • Perhaps Malloy is going to kill himself on the air for ratings or for lack of them?

By Blogger PCD, at 05 August, 2009 21:56

  • I guess as far as liberals are concerned this doesn't qualify as "hate speech"? How odd!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05 August, 2009 22:22

  • Who's Mike Malloy?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 05 August, 2009 22:23

  • Who is this loser? Had anybody ever heard of him before he spewed this verbal sewage out of his mouth recently? He looks like an old man so he hasn't had a stellar career to this point. He couldn't sweep up the studio floor after the Glenn Beck Show is over. It's time for Malloy to go back to his shell of a life and shut the old pie hole.

By Anonymous Mike Wilson, at 05 August, 2009 22:25

  • Who's Mike Malloy? Seriously, I never heard of him till know.

By Blogger Unknown, at 05 August, 2009 22:39

  • Of course, it is even more vile when you realize that Glenn Beck's mother DID commit suicide when he was a boy. He talks about it often. This dirtbag had to know that when he wished the same for Glenn.

By Anonymous Patrick Mead, at 05 August, 2009 22:50

  • I have been an off gain on again listener to Malloy for over ten years now. While on WLS in Chicago, I called in so often and humiliated him so many times that he stopped taking my calls. His show, far and away, has hosted some of the most outrageous and sickening examples of “real” hate radio. From 9-11 shows that would make Alex Jones blush to some of the crudest remarks against anyone who disagrees with him even the slightest, he is one of the most vile and despicable people on the airwaves today.

In light of this, it gives me no small amount of perverse pleasure in seeing this tired wisp of a man sputter from radio stations to radio station, network to network over the past 10+ years. Seeing his career break against the waves every 18 months or so and watching him scramble to find an new outlet, each slightly smaller and less impressive than the last is a testament to skill behind the mic and his temperament.

And how does it make Malloy feel that only a few short years after Beck began his media career, he is several orders of magnitude more popular and influential than Malloy ever was, is, or will be.

Success is the ultimate revenge for a guy like this.

    By Anonymous Mike H, at 05 August, 2009 22:53

  • Oh my God what a toad that bastard is! What makes it so loathsome is how personal the attack is. Bringing up the suicidal history in his family is really bottom of the barrel. Fuck him and his listeners.

By Blogger Kensington, at 05 August, 2009 22:59

  • Here's a list of the laughably small number of stations that carry Malloy. Make your voices heard:

  • What a cruel vile man Malloy is. Although, he is suggesting that people would actually notice and care if Glen Beck did this. If Malloy killed himself on air I doubt anyone would even care or notice.

  • Wait...Who is Mike Malloy? Sounds like he's just trying to get ratings on the shirt tail of really radio talk show hosts. Here's falsh for this bud. Throwing someone under a bus and being a liberal talk show host isn't going to make the rating jump up!

BTW - all you Malloy-detractors: where can we hear your radio shows?

    riiiiiiight . . . . .

Speaking of success, in the realm of the blogosphee, this "equalizer" space is a mere blip on the ass of the Internet. Compared to Daily Kos, Huff Post, Media Matteers, Think Progress et al . . . . yeah, you get the point.

  • Let's pop the popcorn and grab a coke...let's tell Mike to just sit and wait in front of the tv, and invite all of his friends, to watch Glen Beck commit suicide on Saturday Night Live (of course) for their viewing pleasure! Then when Glen Beck doesn't do it, we can have them call their congress person or Nancy Pelosi to arrange their end-of-life counseling, and help them decide if they need the "red pill" or the "blue pill", because they'll be so pissed when Glen Beck's big ole honking face is still on tv, that they are the ones who will want to commit suicide! Funny how the world turns, huh?

By Blogger Michelle, at 06 August, 2009 12:09

  • Unbelievable. I agree, there has been more hate since this election. I never heard of this man but there has to be something that makes this have him off the air or is this free speech? How hateful and demonic can you get. I agree, it apprears liberals are the most intolerant, loud mouthed, ignorant people in the world. I hope this guy, is forced off the air. I would love to get in touch with him but not talk, b/c we already know most liberals are from another world and it is very ugly. God help us.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 06 August, 2009 12:11

  • What a disgusting little troll. However, as disgusting and troll-like as he is, he represents a huge portion of the "tolerant" left.

If you take a moment of reflection on his comments, though, they represent the pathetic, helpless, pointless motions of a little bug which lands in a big puddle and is slowly drowning.

His wishes for Beck are a metaphor for the only possible way for left wing media to achieve relevance.

If only the right would kill themselves - we could rule.

    Sorry, Malloy. You go first.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 06 August, 2009 12:42

  • Ha! Living in San Luis Obispo, KYNS 1340 can barely make a 15 mile radius broadcast. It's lost by the time you get to the next closest town. KYNS used to be Conservative radio until a change of ownership brought in Air America...for 6 months.

KYMS has been on the bottom of local radio listings for at least 5 years, ever since going liberal. 2-3% of the county market is all they can muster. KPRL is 30 miles away, Conservative talk, and on top of the radio list for San Luis Obispo city and county.

To claim this turd has any relevance, is absurd.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 06 August, 2009 13:18

  • This reminds me of the old "Lobotomies for Republicans" bumper stickers. I guess that would make democrats out if us, too?

I on the other hand, keep hoping that Teddy, Nancy, Harry, Barry and the rest live long enough to see America finally and irrevocably refute socialism.

I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out. Is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus -- band -- Do, and I've lost all sense of right and wrong now. Proof please?

Or did you get this from a left-wing extremist smear site like HuffPo or Kos?

    Provide the complete, in-context quotes.

I've heard the in-context quote from Beck regarding Michael Moore and he didn't threaten to kill Moore.

If he had actually threatened to kill someone, especially a member of Congress, law enforcement would have certainly arrested him since making death threats is against the law in all 50 states in the United States (or in Obama's United States, 54 states) and making death threats against a Congresscritter is a federal offense.

So shoreke, take your lies somewhere else where they are dumb enough to believe it on face value.

  • Let's take a little trip down memory lane shall we?
From the May 17 broadcast of The Glenn Beck Program:

BECK: Hang on, let me just tell you what I’m thinking. I’m thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I’m wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out — is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus — band — Do, and I’ve lost all sense of right and wrong now. I used to be able to say, “Yeah, I’d kill Michael Moore,” and then I’d see the little band: What Would Jesus Do? And then I’d realize, “Oh, you wouldn’t kill Michael Moore. Or at least you wouldn’t choke him to death.” And you know, well, I’m not sure.

You were saying about Mike Malloy?

By Blogger Unknown, at 12 August, 2009 09:22

  • Sparky, you cut-and-pasted an out-of-context portion of a satirical skit Beck did on the show. If you had bothered to listen to or read the entire segment/show IN CONTEXT you would also know that these accusations that Beck threatened to kill Michael Moore are all bogus. Yet your hatred of Beck is so great that you willingly choose to perpetuate a lie with out-of-context materials from liberal smear sites.

Just further shows how liberals cannot win in the arena of ideas and end up resorting to dishonest attempts to smear others.

By Blogger Carl, at 12 August, 2009 12:41

  • Best thing about Malloy, no one that's ever listened to him would ever be confused enough to call him a "tolerant liberal" as anonymous did above.

I'm waiting for the day that some foolhardy conservative from one of these forums decides to approach him in a threatening manner. Remember the Second Amendment? Mike Malloy wants to tell you all about it.

As for Beck, he's nothing more than a rabble rouser, little better than any coked out entertainer, and he'll ultimately end up as a footnote in the sad history of this latest ill-conceived uprising.

Having followed Beck's career for years, I suspect that the inevitable firing (coming once two or three more sponsors leave Fox) will push the poor man over the edge, and I do fear for his emotional health. One would hope that his future ex-employer has the integrity to ensure that counseling is made available.

Malloy on the other hand doesn't really seem to give a rat's tail regarding the forum from which he screams in outrage, doesn't care if the animals he calls out are signing his check or losing his vote, and that purity of character is something that I haven't seen much of from the loons that have taken over the conservative movement these past few years.

No, the conservative mind is muddled with well-funded disinformation, and with far too many contradictions, moral and ethical. I seriously doubt that the courage of character shown by commentators like Buckley will make any return now that easily manipulated zealots with blogs have wrung off funding for the newsrooms that a democracy desparately requires, and the mass media is now wall-to-wall opinion, no substance...

Too much comment regarding such a small man. Beck, not Malloy. Turn over a rock in ten years, and Malloy will still be there waiting to tell you about the criminal Pelosi since you're far too self-absorbed to really listen to him now. Beck in ten years? Check craigslist, under attention wanted.

Personally, after the extensive tort reform in my home state failed to cut my health care costs, I'm just hoping that Beck will start to think about the damage he does spreading lies about the real reform that we need as a nation. The smooth talkers from the insurance companies have pulled our strings for far too long.

But if it does end up being a self-inflicted fatality that shuts him up, I will shed no tears.

  • I am not sure why anyone cares what a radio entertainer might say about somebody like Glenn Beck. It seems that some people here actually DO care, a bit too much may I add. Beck is obviously unhinged and spews mostly nonsense that, sadly, many of my conservative friends gobble up for some reason. Rush, Glenn, Sean, etc. are NOT conservatives, but rather lunatic entertainment personalities who lie and spew hate and division.

If Beck does kill himself on the air, fine. What is the loss? Please tell me, what loss is there? Do you people call yourselves "CONSERVATIVES", because if you do, you really have no idea what you are following. Brain damage alert to all Beck followers! Ugh...
