Is Seder's Book Actually Aiding Conservatives?
Is liberal Air America host Sam Seder's new book inadvertently encouraging readers to join the conservative cause?
In what is either a strange error, an Amazon.com staffer with a real sense of humor, or a bona fide trend, Air America host Sam Seder's new book FUBAR: America's Right-Wing Nightmare seems to be encouraging buyers to purchase Ann Coulter's Godless instead!
Just to make sure this wasn't a one-time glitch, the Radio Equalizer tracked the data over a two- day period. From yesterday's FUBAR page at Amazon.com:
Today, the news was even worse for Seder:
While opponents of liberal and conservative books alike do try to skew the review pages of books with negative comments, since they represent actual purchases, we have no idea how one could manipulate these figures. For Seder, this news must be tough to accept.
Meanwhile, with a current Amazon rank of 776 (update: now at 932) in the book sales category, FUBAR's having a tough go of it. Apparently, a non-fiction release trashing Americans for expressing religious views isn't in especially high demand these days!

Sam's book, which stayed under 100 for almost the first 2 months after its release, is still way out-performing Brian's book.

Sam Seder used to post on this blog under the handle SEDER. He also used to comment over the airwaves about B.M. both before and after posting here.

No one seemed to believe this apart from those of us who listen to Air America. I have my copy of FUBAR and didn't find a reference to the radio bits, which were pretty funny BTW. I guess that will have to wait for his next book -- "A.M. - America's Rightwing Kookland"

in spite of that comment and your contempt for community radio, I will make a donation to Pacifica, which BTW has a lot of listeners in NY, if you know how to find the non-commercial ratings, BAI, has a nice loyal listenership. Again, knuckle draggers need not listen, the hot air is over at the once great WABC. BAI, has around 200,000 listeners a week, hardly a waste of space. This right wing hack blog is a waste of internet space, and after the Republican's dismantling of
