Randi Rhodes Show, Minneapolis Bridge Collapse, Libtalk

THEY'LL NEVER LEARN

After Collapse, Libtalk Fans Swing Into Blame-Bush Mode

Since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, it has become customary on the left to blame President Bush for just about every calamity that hits the country. Leading the way are libtalkers who will slam him for nearly any reason, no matter how silly or petty it might seem to others.

And sure enough, after a major interstate bridge collapsed during rush hour in Minneapolis last night, it took unhinged Randi Rhodes fans mere minutes to begin the Bush blame game.

Examples:

The crumbling infrastructures hear at home is the price we pay for fighting oil wars over there. Its Bad and The Rush hour to Collapse of the I 35 West Bridge Over The Mississippi River in Minnesota at Minneapolis now its bad Cars in The Water the demo without notification Get’er fixed .

---

And yesterday there was a bridge collapse in Calif.

Let's hope it's just a terrible coincidence & not terror related.

Not that I would expect this admin. to confirm any terror attacks unless they thought it could give them a boost in ratings.

---

Yep & the rest of the news has been cancelled on tv,even Keith O!! How convenient for the repukers!! I don't put anything past those evil f-ks & won't be surprised if we see a lot more of these kind of catastrophies up until the next elections!! They will do anything to keep the sheeple in the dark!!!

---

Yeah, how convenient for "the powers that be." Strange isn't it?

Another thing; how about that "faith based infrastructure?" (sarcasm)

Gotta send our taxpayer money "over there" so they don't attack us "over here."

---

Whos misery? 6 Americans dead. That just about an average day in Iraq. And with the s--t on a stick the Republicans keep pushing at us I can't blame folks for being at least a little dubious.

And Mark my words, "Gauranf--kinteed the right will spin this sh-t to suit their needs."

---

You know that the f-kin repukers & the msm are gonna milk this tragedy until Congress takes it vacation!! No other news & nothing else to see in DC!!!

---

Yeah and he's PRAYING for the victims.

That's about all he's gonna do for them.

Well, I'm praying for his impeachment and his conviction.

---

The big question: will Randi's show sound any different today, or will it feature the same pathetic political rhetoric?

  • Brian is so desperate for news, he states "lib talkers' are blaming Bush, than posts what listeners are saying on a message board, not the talkers.

Have you ever seen such hackery? Which lib talker , blamed Bush?

Which lib talker is even covering this in a political way?

im sure now... if we find out the contractors working on the bridge cut corners and hired cheap illegal labor, it will be an issue, but NOBODY is talking aoubt this in a politcal way yet, becides 5 people who posted on Randi's blog

    PURE F*CKING HACKERY

    CONS: BRIAN IS LYING AGAIN

Katrina was a disaser because of Bush's failures... we all know this, and it was a 100% legit topic, more legit than that retard (how he has a job? answer knee pads) talking 12 years later "clinton killed vince foster"

    cons projecting again

See what a bunch of pathological liars these scumbag liars, these degenrae freaks of nature are? and radio keeps hiring lying sacks of sh*t like Brian?
Shows what is acceptable in society today. FILTHY LIARS are considered worthy of radio programs.

  • Nothing pathetic about it. Just simple fact.

Americans are literally dying from the neglect and incompetence of the Bush Crime Family.

The truth may be painful for you to hear, but it is good for you nonetheless.

By Blogger hashfanatic, at 02 August, 2007 14:11

  • No on on the left is blaming him yet, Brian but, boy is he quick to blame someone else.

From his "condolences" speech, as reported by AP:

"We in the federal government must respond, and respond robustly, to help the people there not only recover, but to make sure that lifeline of activity - that bridge - gets rebuilt as quickly as possible," Bush said in the Rose Garden following a Cabinet meeting.

The White House said an inspection two years ago (ed: hmm...so not really a surprise that there was a problem) found structural deficiencies in the highway bridge that buckled during evening rush hour Wednesday, killing at least four people and sending dozens of cars plummeting into the Mississippi River.

"This doesn't mean there was a risk of failure, but if an inspection report identifies deficiencies, the state is responsible for taking corrective actions," he said.

    So, it's the state's fault!

There you go, Mr. President. You pass that buck as quick as you can. And, thanks for your heartfelt concern.

  • I agree Hash, it is a political issue this is an indictment on conservatism in general. Nobody is specifically blaming Bush yet, but conversations about the failure of conservatism is the issue once more........

people are talking about crumbling infrustructure in general as of now, this bridge is another example of it, one could connect Republican tax cuts and conservstive ideology in general, destroy the government, except for military operations, destroy the entire government, regulatory agencies, etc etc.

Dave pointed out bushie is blaming the state???? I thought highways were a federal responsibility, our federal taxes pay for this stuff.

Maloney is trying to simply the issue, the issue is not Bush, but CONSERVATIVISM in general...
The conservative way is destroy the entire government, they are anarchists. Cons want a government that only wages war and spys on the American people , the government the con way is only there to protect big business wage imperialistic wars for profit and screw the people.

By Blogger Minister of Propaganda, at 02 August, 2007 14:33

  • MOP, the Feds grant money to the states, whose job it is to actually build the roads. All the crews you see out there slinging asphalt? Hired by the state.

Today indeed was "Blame a Republican for the Bride Collapse" Day. Schultz was going hard after Tim Paulenty for vetoing an omnibus pork bill while Hartmann was setting his sights on Milton Freedman & the tax cutters.

They both should be setting their sights on Enviro-NIMBYs and those who want to spend all the government's cash on things like health care and Social Security instead of road construction & maintenance.

By Blogger BF, at 02 August, 2007 14:41

  • Bf:They both should be setting their sights on Enviro-NIMBYs and those who want to spend all the government's cash on things like health care and Social Security instead of road construction & maintenance.

The GOP would rather cut monies to infrustructre and spend it all on endless wars in the Middle East.

Hartman is 100% right, this is the result of conservative ideology, destroy everything the government does positive and necessary, destroy the FDA (remember the food recalls and dead cats, that was the fault of conservatism) destroy the tax code, allow companies to use loopholes to evade taxes, destory FEMA, destroy any regulatory agency and privitize everything. This is conservative ideology

and with 12 years of cons in power, they were able to destroy a lot of the government, going to take a long time to restore all that the GOP destroyed. It is not an indictment on Buh per say, but conservative ideology in general,
which can be summed up as:

"government is bad, unless they are waging war and occupations, are spying on citizens, telling you what to do with your body or discriminating against queers"......

It is simple any good that government can do for the American people, such as maintain the rodas and highways, make sure we are not killed by food and products we purchase food, provide public schools, healthcare for the needy, protect the enviornment for the children.... etc. etc. is to be eliminated by conservatism.

Bf, this is not a game, conservatism is an Anti-American ideology, what modern conservatives believe is everything America was built upon. Conservatives want a new society in America run by big business. time to think deeper and understand what they have done to this country. you don't have to be liberal to be against this modern form of conservatism, which is indeed leaves no room for democracy.

  • Maloney,

I am trying to understand something.

Would you please explain how those offended imaginary e-mailers of yours are any less offended by expressions such as

    F*ck You
    Frak You
    Piece of Sheet
    Bass Turd
    A-hole

than they are with the correct or complete spelling of these words.

If the reader of these words understands exactly the meaning and intention behind these words, aren't they equally offensive and shouldn't the commenter be subject to the same restrictions?

    just wondering.

By Blogger elmonica, at 02 August, 2007 16:32

  • Elmonica, the issue is with Google, not offended readers.

By Blogger Brian Maloney, at 02 August, 2007 19:09

  • This doesn't have to be a partisan issue.

    From today's Star-Tribune op-ed.
    http://www.startribune.com/10204/story/1339911.html

"The outrage here is not partisan. It is general.

Both political parties have tried to govern on the cheap, and both have dithered and dallied and spent public wealth on stadiums while scrimping on the basics.

How ironic is it that tonight's scheduled groundbreaking for a new Twins ballpark has been postponed? Even the stadium barkers realize it is in poor taste to celebrate the spending of half a billion on ballparks when your bridges are falling down. Perhaps this is a sign of shame. If so, it is welcome. Shame is overdue.

At the federal level, the parsimony is worse, and so is the negligence. A trillion spent in Iraq, while schools crumble, there aren't enough cops on the street and bridges decay while our leaders cross their fingers and ignore the rising chances of disaster.

And now, one has fallen, to our great sorrow, and people died losing a gamble they didn't even know they had taken. They believed someone was guarding the bridge.

We need a new slogan and we needed it yesterday:

    "No More Collapses.""
    --------------

Who's job is it to guard our infrastructure? We deserve safe infrastructure and we should demand it.

By Blogger Ezsuds, at 02 August, 2007 19:22

  • Similarities:

    Minnesota Bridge Collapse
    +
Massachusetts "Big Dig" Ceiling Collapse (Tunnel o' Death)

    Both are Blue States

Minnesota cause unknown but looks like money was diverted to new ball field by local politicians.

Massachusetts cause was pure greed into the pockets of the developers and local politicians.

Both are examples of poor government at the local level.

By Blogger The Benson Report, at 02 August, 2007 22:53

  • Isn't Pawlenty a Republican?

By Blogger hashfanatic, at 03 August, 2007 02:37

  • The GOP would rather cut monies to infrustructre and spend it all on endless wars in the Middle East.

Actually, the GOP would rather cut Social Security payments to illegal immigrants and spend it all on infastructure. Too bad the Democrats have to cheat in order to prevent that.
