Howard Dean Says Senate Republicans Want Obama Dead
A QUIET SCREAM
Former DNC Head Plays Games With Incendiary Language
Apparently, libtalkers aren't the only ones asserting that conservatives want Obama dead. After a week of reckless rhetoric from the left side of the dial, along comes Howard Dean to show them how it's really done!
As Dean suggests Senate Republicans want to "kill the bill and kill the president", listen for the former DNC chairman's less-than-sincere effort to step out of the dog-doo. Is this Dean Scream Volume II, the quiet version?
From today's Stephanie Miller Show, here's the clip and transcript:
Listen to the clip: did Howard Dean really trip over his words, or was it a sleazy attempt to claim Republicans want Obama dead? Does his backtracking sound contrived?
What does "kill the president's term" mean? And why follow up with comments about angry people?

From today's Stephanie Miller Show, here's the clip and transcript:
STEPHANIE MILLER (1:29): I saw you (Howard Dean) on Keith Olbermann last night. You really do believe we’re going to have a public option.
HOWARD DEAN: At the end of the day, I think we will. First of all, the president is a very smart guy and he knows very well this can’t work without a public option. Secondly, you know he’s run into a rough patch in the Senate, mostly because of Democrats, honestly.
The Republicans, they have no interest in this Bill. They’re using the 1994 playbook. Let’s kill the bill and kill the president...... or, kill the president’s term. Although there are sort of angry people out there I get very nervous about this stuff. I don’t like it at all.
DEAN (5:02): I’m an optimist. I think the president is gonna get a bill on his desk. I think it is going to have a public option in it. He’s going to sign it in December, his numbers are gonna turn around and we’re not going to lose a lot of seats. In fact I think we’ll pick up seats in the Senate and lose just a couple of seats in the House.
Listen to the clip: did Howard Dean really trip over his words, or was it a sleazy attempt to claim Republicans want Obama dead? Does his backtracking sound contrived?
What does "kill the president's term" mean? And why follow up with comments about angry people?

I love his comment about "picking up seats." Didn't Dick Cheney once make the same prediction...? Hmmm.

Howard Dean never fails to make me laugh.

Apparently is is not only the "right" that wants to fear-monger. How many people carried signs and outright said Bush should be killed? Tons.
How many people have carried signs and outright said Obama should be killed? Aside from one or two signs that have made the news, apparently not many people.
I do agree that the health care bill- i.e. socialization of American Healthcare to benefit illegal immigrants- should be left in a shallow grave in a field.

I don't know how anyone could think President Bush was an exceptionally dumb politician when you have guys like Howard Dean running around. It is disturbing and almost unbelievable to think he was one crazy scream away from winning the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004.
By dbquijano, at 18 August, 2009 16:00
Wow! Nice to see Dean is still the same reckless whackjob he's always been ...

By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:04
Howard Dean used to be the DNC chair, but he is still a bag of vinegar used to flush the plumbing of odors and other whore-like products
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:04
Howard Dean is as nuts as he's always been and he's never been cured. Even if the health care bill passes, he will not be cured!
That goes for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, too!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:05
Dean is a complete doofus. Isn't he about the right age to have a visit from the "end of life" committee? And isn't it the Dems that want to put people to death?
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:06
It's no wonder this loon failed to get the nomination. . . that Dems put him in charge of their party speaks volumes YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA! Wack-a-do. . .
By MidwesternBoy, at 18 August, 2009 16:06
Howard who? I don't seem to recall anyone relevant by that name - except Howard the Duck.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:07
Howard dean is a douchebag.
Why does anybody listen to anything this moron says. He reminds me of the guy that everyone beat up on in high school.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:10
It was a dumb thing to say in todays media but I know what he meant. Kill the bill and it hurts Obama's chances for re-election. This guys a moron though.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:11
Deans a loud mouth anyway....why do you think in 2004 nobody wanted him in the white house...total idiot....dont care what he says now nor will anyone ever.....
By Unknown, at 18 August, 2009 16:11
Dean is crazy if he thinks anyone wants to "kill the president". The people in line for the presidency are even worse than what we currently have! Come to think of it, Dean is crazy anyway. Why would anyone want to hear what he has to say? If he were to be enrolled into ObamaCare he would be put at the end of the line for rationed healthcare because he has no chance of contributing to society.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:11
I thought that the Dems control all three houses now. The have controlled the house now for almost three years. They are in charge and do not need a single GOP vote to move forward their agenda. Dean is just looking for a scapegoat. Propaganda by deflection - the GOP is the great SATAN!. Why does Dean start to sound like Ahmadinejad?
By Unknown, at 18 August, 2009 16:13
Dean represents the DNC, and holds hand with, Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid, Hillary, Maddow, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, Mel Reynolds, Gerry Studds, Barney Frank, Gus Savage, Sandy Berger, Dan Rostenkowski, and of course John Edwards. Nobody would trust their children with this guy why does anyone listen to him babble? Come on, America derserves better.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:13
The Republicans cannot stop the bill in Congress...only the Democrats can, as the Democrats have total control of the government...that's why Obama wanted the bill passed in a hurry, so that American voters would not see what was in it, including the death panels and the plans for rationing care based on prior hospital admissions and age, and "potential contributions to society."
Dean and other Democrats are the ones using unnecessarily inflammatory language...against individual patriotic Americans protesting the actions of elitist legislators and an imperious totalitarian administration.
The Democrats are the ones bringing union thugs to townhall meetings. It is noteworthy that violence did not occur until the Democrats' purple shirts showed up.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:13
We all owe Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Charles Schumer, Barney Frank, Rahm Emanuel, Keith Olbermann and Barack Obama for finally clearing up the age-old debate as to why the symbol of the democratic party is the jackass. Thanks all...
By MDWhite, at 18 August, 2009 16:13
These people will say or do anything...no mater how poor in taste or disgusting it may be. Liberals have no limits, they will say and do anything to get their "progressive" agenda crammed down the throats of Americans and it's truly very sad. They are open minded and tolerant just as long as what you say agrees with their narrow-minded perspective of their views on the issues. In the words of Keith Olberwomann...the soon to be ex-head of the DNC...or this man should be fired. Olberweenie calls for every Republican to be fired when they make a statement he doesn't agree with, let's see if he does the same for Dean on tonight’s show...I highly doubt it!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:15
My God, the man is a blithering idiot.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:16
"Kill the X" is a very common expression that rarely means a desired result of death.
It does seem awkward, but I think its because he realized he used that expression and was thought "Ah, crap, people are going to read into that one." Rather than reading into his words, I'd suggest the listener read into the many definitions of kill.

Talk about taking a quote out of context.
How intellectually dishonest do you have to be?
He said kill the presidents TERM. Clearly in the POLITICAL sense.
I'm a conservative and I find this to be utterly dishonest and wrong of this blog and Drudge to take Dean out of context. It makes us look cheap and pitiful. Are we going to start misquoting everyone now mid-sentence?

Well crazy Howard rides again. The lunatic who ran around this country yelling that we need to take this country back from rush Limbaugh, it is time to take this country back. Back, back from whom Mr. Dean?? Lib's the master distributors of hate and the master insulted. Tone it down we need to have a discussion you can have a discussion without the yelling and name calling. Funny how proper and fair minded they all of the sudden become when they are losing the argument and the country! They are the ultimate in circus entertainment it is like watching a clown car circling around the big tent it stops and a bunch of crazed wacked out lib's jump out they run in circles bopping and tripping each other they get back in the car jump out and do the same thing thinking that somehow they will convince you that you are the clown. MSNBC is the biggest clown event ever you have groucho (keith), rachel (the woman dressed as a man or the man with the beard something like that), chirs matthews and his side kick lawrence o'donell who are the snake oil salesman they call you to the stage and scream about how they can save you from all ills if you just buy their crap!! Lib's are afraid to watch fox news because it will confuse their singular thoughts I on the other hand love to watch cnn msncb listen to lib radio because the skirting of the truth and the utter denial of what is really happening is truly amazing it makes you wonder how these people function in every day life or do they? Howard you make me laugh show up more in the media argue the case it can only help those who oppose you it always does and howard since you are a doctor maybe you could find someone to remove that stick from your a** that continuious pained look on your face is very distracting it puts me in fear that depends will be required at any moment. Is this not HATE CRIME? This doub le standard is becoming intolerable.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:18
I don't think Dean meant "kill", as in physically dead. Do Republicans want to ruin (aka destroy/kill) the presidents term in office? of course. Democrates wanted the same of Bush, even more so. The hypocrisy of these parties is sickening.
Vote in a third party candiadte!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:19
Howard Dean is a jerk. Why put forward solid proposals or verifiable criticism when you can demean and degrade. He's not even creative.
They should stop giving this guy airtime.

Let us all remember...this guy lost big time. He is not a reliable source of knowledge.

What is it with Liberals anyway?
All through the Bush administration they constantly said that they wished Bush dead.
Now, they are saying that conservatives want Obama dead.
I have heard ZERO, NONE, and NO conservatives saying this.
I think Liberals are violent.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:21
YAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGG!!
That's the only thing I will ever think of when I ponder Howard Dean.
By Unknown, at 18 August, 2009 16:22
Isn't it amazing that the only people that keep talking about killing Obama (and others that they disagree with) are liberals? Talk about hate-mongers!

By Unknown, at 18 August, 2009 16:28
Dean is obviously trying to say the they are trying to kill his presidency not the person himself...but tongue in cheek he's also planting a little sympathy for Obama after he catches his words...As allways though, Dean is still a douche bag...Always has been always will be...

By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:33

Thanks for publicizing this man's brain-dead statements and showing what an idiot he really is.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:33
So telling the truth is sleaze now?
Why don't you go work for a Honduran Newspaper so you can twist the truth without competition. I'm sure the Republicans and DINOs would applaud.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:33
Howard Dean is the Great Divider, He continues to make rash unfounded statements. I doubt that he has ever had a single rational thought, only comments that border on insanity. He only hurts the Democratic Party with his BS statements.
By Unknown, at 18 August, 2009 16:33
It was a slip of the tongue. What he meant was "kill the President politically" or "kill the President's effectiveness for the rest of his term."
He could have used a more neutral phrase, so why would the "kill the President" formulation pop into his head? Because of the ultra-right nuts who've been showing up at Obama rallies with guns. These guys are parading around with firearms at Presidential events precisely in order to create an air of violent threat and menace towards Obama in the public consciousness. And it is working. It should be stopped!
By uffi, at 18 August, 2009 16:33
The American People are slowly but surely leaving the fog created by all-talk Barack's mezmorizing teleprompter reading. Every day we move forward is one day closer to this socialist blowhard and his cronies like Giggles the White House Spokesman and Nancy The Botox Clap Machine out of power. America is in danger but if we stay the course these dangerous individuals will be voted out of power, and not soon enough.

Thus we conservatives know it makes absolutely no difference what the state of Obummer's health is.
Just more attempts to discredit genuine protesting of Obama's scams.
By FreemonSandlewould, at 18 August, 2009 16:38
Howard Dean is probably one of the STUPIDEST people I can think of for being an educated man. He makes the dumbest statements then has to run and hide from the backlash. If people would only hold Mr. Dean ACCOUNTABLE for his IMMATURE and IRRESPONSIBLE statements then maybe he would shut up and THINK before he speaks - but I highly doubt thats going to happen anytime soon.
I think he's trying to blow air in his own sails about the seats for the Democrats in 2010 - they are already smelling "iron" meaning that a "BloodBath" is going to take place in which both Democrats AND Republicans are going to loose seats to newcomers who WILL do what they promise to do.
By TheSwabbie, at 18 August, 2009 16:39
Howard Dean is a partisan hack. He doesn't care about anything except the advancement of his own political agenda. Gain seats in 2010 ? The Dem's will be LUCKY if even one wins re-election.
No one, I repeat NO ONE with a single active brain cell wants anything to happen to the President and VP.. Good God.. does he really think anyone actually wants Pelosi to be President ????
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:39
Its Howard Dean....what can you expect....he's just another one of many liberal "geniuses" running our country....i beg to differ with him though. I believe dems will lose a LOT of seats. People are starting to see them for what they are. The scare tactics aren't working for them anymore.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:40

By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:41
So, it's the conservative right that deals in fear mongering and vitriol, huh? Howard Dean's remarks just show how two-faced and dishonest the democratic leadership really is. Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of Obama's apologists only option is to make inflamatory remarks such as this in hopes of somehow salvaging a sinking health bill. Hopefully the captain will go down with the ship.
By PTParks, at 18 August, 2009 16:42

This is nuts, so anyone that speaks out against an Administration is now either a racist, terrorists or now a potential presidential assassin.
Now we see, liberals are the true no free speech crowd, instead of using firearms to abuse their opponents, they use intimidation.
Dean is a disgrace to our nation, how dare he.

By Gothmog, at 18 August, 2009 16:45
Clearly, Howard Dean is malicious, desperate, and impulsive. He has a tendency to self-destruct, and to meltdown anything he touches - a reverse Midas touch. Hemlock to moderates. Dean knows what "projection" is. I suggest that the Secret Service psychological profilers work Dean up.
By Mhu Cao, at 18 August, 2009 16:46
Whoa, the left is really scrambling, eh? First, the tea parties. Their response was to ignore it. Not getting away with that, they decided to poke fun at Americans and refer to 'tea baggers' as sexual perverts. Then comes Obamacare, and the people REALLY don't want this shoved down their throats, so the left's response? Call them fakes, mobs, swastika bearing astroturf. But did you notice that before the Dems got hollering, Americans filed into these town hall meetings quietly, on their own, to meet with their representatives. It wasn't until the left stirred the pot and called in the unions and ACORN did the meetings get out of hand with yelling and screaming...by the people the Dems called in! And now, we've got Howard Dean stating that Republicans want Obama dead. Next we're going to see union leaders and leftwing astroturf carrying signs saying "Kill Obama". There aren't enough nuts out there who will keep their idiot left wingnuts in office. The Republicans need only sit back and wait for the next election to regain control. Obviously, there's a reason why we don't see Democrat control of the White House AND Congress very often. I'm sure hell will freeze over and the little devils will be ice skating before we see the Dems heading up anything for years and years to come. They played Americans once but after this show of corruption and mismanagement, they'll be out of office, and out of power, soon enough. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are already lame ducks...and Republicans didn't have to do a thing!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:46
It's obvious to any intelligent person he means they want to make him a lame duck president, not literally kill him.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:46
What an utterly irresponsible, smug man who uses his "leadership" position to libel an entire political party and everyone else who opposes the ideas he and his cohorts have shoved into the public debate.
Isn't it interesting that the only way the political left can respond to disagreement, debate or political discourse is to hurl opprobrium, epithets, and slander?
By Jeffrey M. Zabner, at 18 August, 2009 16:48
Are the Dems going to continue playing with this nut case? Saying the Pubs want to kill the President!?!?! I hope the Dems muzzle this guy, or he's gonna make them look awfully stupid!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:48
So anyone that disagrees with this Administration is now a racist, terrorist and now potential presidential assassin...
Dean is a disgrace to the USA. Freedom of Speech should not be stamped on due to one's personal opinion.
I used to think the FEMA camp people were nuts, I am starting to wonder how long till these Fascist morons that won't tolerate opposing points of view put me in one.
I AM NOT A THREAT TO MY NATION OR THE PRESIDENT OF THE USA LEAVE ME ALONE! I just don't agree with policy or the direction, good lord people!
By Jethro212, at 18 August, 2009 16:48

By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:49

By gogetter, at 18 August, 2009 16:49
How does the democratic party contiue to keep the garbage leadership they have with Pelosi, Reid, Dean, Schummer, Dodd, Frank. This is a whos who of political hacks and clowns, not an intellect in the group, no one of real substance and they are very much the foundation of our current economic woes, yet the democratic party continues to be lead by these hacks, until they have leadership that is actually capable of real conversation and compromise, partisanship and divisiveness will rule and prevent any quality policy from coming out of washington.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:50
Dr. Dean, with all due respects, needs to stay on his medication. Who can ever forget, when he was vying for the Democratic nomination for President several years ago, his unintelligible rant of exuberance that showed the public just how questionable he was as a candidate. After that exhibition of uncontrolled emotions, his poll figures dropped like a rock, after leading the pack of candidates.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:50
Is there ever gonna be a subject where the American people don't get a raw deal due to partisan politics? Republicans were for "death panels" before and now just cause it's in "obamacare" they oppose it. It's BS; simply put. Why do the republicans do nothing but oppose what is out there? If they have a better plan to get costs down can we please hear it more than this death panel talk?
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:51

How glad are you that Howard Dean lost the primaries and crawled back under his rock? The guy is certifiable! Where was his "concern" when nutjobs on the left were threatening the President of the United States. . . oh yeah, that was Bush. It's okay with Dean if folks want to kill Bush, scream at Bush, make Joker-Bush posters and magazine covers, and make Bush look like Hitler - no prob.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:56
On come on, he clearly meant kill the presidency--the effectiveness of the office. Let's not make mountains out of molehills.

Are you kidding me? Howard, Howard, Howard! At this point, Conservatives love what Obama is doing. He's unraveling faster the Jimmy Carter did, and will shift the American people back where they belong far faster than any Republican can achieve. I am LMAO every time he tells another lie, or has the Insane Asylum leadership, aka, Pelosi and Reid, defend his ideas with their hate-speeches. The old joke is, "How can you tell you are winning an argument with a Liberal?" Answer: They start calling you names! Like...Nazis, anti-american, etc. Nobody wants Obama dead, except maybe the far-left when he abandons one of their pipe-dreams. Obama is doing all the leg work for the next election. Thanks Mr. President. Great Job. Errr.....could you maybe slow down the money printing? My grandchildren are getting worried. Thanks!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 16:59
I'm enjoying watching the communist (aka "Democrat") agenda coming unravelled. America is finally starting to see that Obama is not a messiah, but merely a self-interested left wing nut job.

The Democrats are going to look back at the 1994 shake-up of the Senate, Congress FONDLY after next year's elections. The Dems haven't figured out that young people today HATE any type of "big brother" government, censorship, political correctness,or being told what to do in general!! Most of the young people (<35) I talk to see Obama's plans as EVIL.......
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:03
Oh please please please Howie keep talking like this. It's such a gift to the right. What's that old saying "give someone enough rope and they'll hang themselves". What a douche this guy is. His charges are so stupid that they don't even warrant a defense on the Republicans/rights part. Ahh the smell of desperation!

What a tool.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:08
Howie Dean, you're a damn nut, but you proved that years ago. Are you tired of sitting in the back of the democrat bus, howie? Are you putting your foot in your mouth to attract at least a little attention, Howie? Your MD wife must be embarrassed that she married such a ding bat.
America, we have these Marxists on the run. Keep up the good work! Don't stop now, lets kill this bill entirely. Who wants the feds to run our medical systems when there are people like Barney the F. and Howie, the nut involved?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

I'm beginning to understand why that new TV show about a "concierge" doctor is popular. Everyone is going to need a source for what treatments are really available as opposed to what you are ALLOWED to be told. This is all about "disqualifying" to save money. The fact you pay for insurance will be meaningless.

Isn't this just the right giving Obama the same fair treatment the left gave Bush? But, that's not fair! Oh just shut up. So is it a real issue? No, Dean and Obama are just whiny wusses.
By Bob, at 18 August, 2009 17:14
Too funny. Right out of the 1994 playbook?? Sounds like Dean is picking up on Rush's references to the liberal playbook.
Since the Dem's have the house, senate, and white house how is the GOP killing anything. If you want it regardless to how the people feel then pass it. Go on record with this thing if it is so great. Oh wait re-elections in 2010. Oh and even though the Dems control everything they don't have the votes in their OWN party.
Also if this is so great and such a wise more on the move of the goverment why is congress exempting itself??????????

Howard Dean = IDIOT
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:17
Howard Dean is almost as smart as Al Franken, almost.
No, really, he is the stupidest educated man in the USA. He has no limit switch on his stupidity and he has no control of his mouth. Imagine how bad a president he would be - like an evil Joe Biden! This clown ran a state with a population smaller than Las Vegas and its main product is tree sap! He's less qualified than Pee Wee Herman and much dumber than Rosie O'Donnell.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:18
Democrats have been in complete control of Congress for over 30 months.
How do you like what they've done to the economy so far?
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:19
Obama is quite safe!
NOBODY in their right mind would want to invoke the chain of Presidential succession, which would include Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Robert "KKK" Byrd.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:21
He clearly misspoke. You're grasping at straws here.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:21
at some point some wacko on the left is going to get the message from these types of comments that turning Obama into a martyr is in their best interest!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:25
As terrible as it sounds, I believe they are setting up the scenario. There are sufficient crazies that would kill anyone. However, Deasn is merely playing to the next step in blaming the conservatives for any evil that might take place.
Peraonally, if I am th Presidenr I would keep the Dems very, very close.
Falls always come from within.
I dislike everything this president stands for, but I will pray for his safety.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:25
Howard Dean, now there's a name that just rings of "gravitas". Howard, you are a retard of galactic dimensions and your opinion means less than any run of the mill fortune cookie. I'll take this opportunity to thank Obama for being Obama, conservatives could have talked till 2025 warning you idiot OBOTS about undiluted liberalism and you wouldn't have heard a word but thankfully the Dali Bama is like a white hot poker in the eyes of America and that is just such a wonderful learning tool. Stupid people and dogs learn through pain and repetitious reinforcement while bright people seem to just know that Obama was poison for this country. A quarter million jobs lost every month, the kid has beat my prognostications. Atta boy Dali Bama, keep kicking us until it sinks in to every mallet head OBOT out there still drinking the 01/20 kool-aid.

So what. We had books and a movie made about the death of GWB. Who give a flying flip what Howard Dean thinks. Yeaaaaaaa!
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:30
...well, it's good to know that Dr. Dean is still a mental case. In the spirit of benefitting the doubt - I heard his comments and he really did mean kill the President's term, chances, momentum, arrogance, whatever...He in no way implied that Republican's want to see the president hurt in any way. However, the comment about picking up congressional seats just adds to the already overwhelming evidence that liberalism is a mental disorder.
By Anonymous, at 18 August, 2009 17:32

Someone asked 'Who is Howard Dean?' Well when he was in his last term as VT govern-more, the question up there was 'WHERE is Howard Dean?' He spent most of his term racing around in preparation for running for President and was missing in action as govern-more. I guess that was a good thing though.

The only killing that will be done is the "killing" of the elderly and the sickly by neglect. Like the "right" to kill the unborn, don't you know, they will assume the "right" to eliminate the biggest drag on the health care system...those who cost the most-the elderly and the congenitally sick. An easy way would be to limit the monetary amount an individual could draw from the health care system per year. "Sorry, you've reached your limit for this year, come back when next year rolls around." Or they could simply say an individual is costing too much and deny care. Or do much less than is necessary. You always know what they're up to by what they accuse you of.

The problem is ACORN and SEIU thugs would beat me, MSNBC would report that I was making fun of homosexuals, then Obama would say " I don't have all the facts but ... The country is going more and more conservative with each passing day. Howard Dean helps the cause of conservatism every time he opens his mouth. The numbers show that 57% of America is Conservative and growing rapidly. So Howard needs to go back into the void he came from and let the people see what Democrats are really like.

Are you aware that Congress is exempting its members and their families and staff from their health care bills? This is such disgusting behavior! Below are videos of town hall meetings held with various members of congress discussing health care reform and the citizens do not like it! Please attend any meetings held in your districts and ask the following questions of your Representatives and get answers if you can!
1. Has Congress included an exemption for its members and their families and staff from any health care bills it is considering passing?
2. Why are you excluding yourselves from the bill?
3. Demand that your Representative submit an amendment subjecting Congress to all provisions of the health care bill.
4. Demand that your Representative submit an amendment canceling the present health care being provided to all members of Congress and the federal government and instating the provisions of the proposed health care bill upon passing.
5. Tell him you are kicking him out of office if he does not follow items 1-4.
6. Ask him why he thinks he deserves better health care than the people who voted him in office!
Thanks for your support! No go have a nice cup of tea!

I think the fine folks of Arizona demonstrated yesterday that even when armed with weapons, that they respect the office and that the thoughts of firing upon the POTUS never came up.
It appears that the thoughts of actually murdering a POTUS only comes up within the Democratic parties more Socialist members and the media, both of whom talk about it regularly.

Of course no Senate Republicans want Obama dead. But a whole lot of democrats screamed "Kill Bush!" and "F__k Bush" for 8 years. Dean seemed to have no problem with that.
By Anonymous, at 19 August, 2009 00:47
I cannot believe how stupid are some of the people commenting on this blog. It does not take a genius to see that Dean wasn't talking about Rep senators "killing" the president literally. It shows that the average American is a complete idiot. Maybe, that is why Glenn Beck is such a start among those call regular Joes. And then you wonder why we are losing our human capital advantage...
By Anonymous, at 19 August, 2009 01:06
Obama should be concerned. JFK's agenda got enacted by his successor, aided by the public reaction to his assassination. Conservatives certainly would not risk creating such a reaction - but, with Obama faltering, it may be a thought that finds traction with the followers of Obama's revolutionary mentors. Uneasy lies the head.... If O is as smart as he thinks he is, he needs to find the eligibility evidence he "overlooked", and resign. It is likely his safest way out.
By Anonymous, at 19 August, 2009 02:28
Harold Dean may be the only physician on the Obama Public Option Plan. Now, that is scary.
By Anonymous, at 19 August, 2009 05:49
I don't think his words were unintentional... this is what the left does when they can't argue a point with logic. Calling anyone who doesn't agree with ObamaCare a racist? Presidential death threats? Swastikas? Anything but directly confronting the points their opposition makes!
By Anonymous, at 19 August, 2009 08:54
You can't just go on the radio and say 'hay lets kill the President,' because some moron will believe that's what the Senate Republicans want and try and plot to have him killed or try and kill him if this passes. Personally I don't have health insurance so I'm for anything that will get me insurance. Also, last time I checked, wanting to kill the president is against the law and you will go to prison. Anyway I don't like Howard Dean and I'm glad he wasn't nominated and if Obama is killed guess who their going to go after first...Howard Dean because they'll believe that he did it. They won't believe that someone else did it and won't that be a laugh to see him in jail for a few days until they find out that someone else did it. Jerk.
