Friday Update

Weekend Updates

Sheehan Circus Exposed, Conservative Infiltrates Camp

Here's what to expect this weekend at the Radio Equalizer:

--- I'm filling in again tonight (Friday) for Talk Radio Network's Rusty Humphries, 9pm-mid EDT. We'll have updates on Move America Forward's "You Don't Speak For Me, Cindy" Tour and the rest of the day's news.

--- Michelle Malkin and I continue to work on the latest Air America scandal news. We're researching some major developments now. Watch here for updates.

--- Meanwhile, Michelle has a roundup of today's Air America scandal stories here. She reports Air America's Randi Rhodes did find her way to Crawford after all, what type of jet used to get there is unknown.

--- The New York Sun has an update on the search for former Air America head Evan Cohen. Don't know why Multicultural's lawyers would think he's in the Bay State, Michelle has clearly established that he's in Hawaii.

My problem with the story is that it places the focus on Cohen, when it needs to remain with the current management and board. That's where Air America's problems remain.

--- Liberal host Stephanie Miller claims Pat Robertson's comments didn't get enough media attention.

--- Monthly ratings are out for major cities, we'll be talking a look at the highlights.

--- Page Six says CNN has no business picking a fight with FOX over quality, when Larry King's busy asking Pamela Anderson about her implants.

--- Radio commentator Paul Harvey, 86, apparently confused Pat Robertson with Jerry Falwell, prompting ABC to issue an emergency "kill" order (ironic, isn't it?) to make sure stations didn't air the broadcast. Feder of Chicago has the story.

Check back soon for the latest.

Update: if you haven't yet seen the explosive KGO-7/ San Francisco story on the partisan political operatives financing Camp Casey, read it here. It proves the whole thing is nothing but a sham.

I jokingly asked Move America Forward's Melanie Morgan whether she stormed down the hall from her KSFO studios to shame the KGO folks into reporting the story. Morgan insisted, however, that it came into being on its own.

Speaking from Dallas, where Move America Forward's caravan stopped for the evening before the morning journey to Crawford, Morgan noted the ABC reporter behind the story is one of their most liberal.

We also heard from Curtis, a Texan who infiltrated Camp Casey, even attending security briefings. He talked about how well-organized Sheehan's supporters are, down to computerized schedules used by guards, to determine when celebs are arriving and departing.

He was even able to get a Saturday arrival time for Air America radio's Randi Rhodes, but we still don't know what type of jet will be taking her to Crawford.

Curtis found a way to blend into the crowd without being detected.

Morgan says Move America Forward's specific plans are confidential, because they don't want to allow the leftists time to undermine their actions. They intend to arrive in Crawford in late morning, with no idea just how many supporters will join them, since they're coming in from all over the country.

Your Amazon orders help to support this effort. Thanks!

  • Interesting, Brian. Your critics care so much about your reporting on this "non-scandal" that they hang around making repetitious, unimaginative boilerplate comments several times a day. Imagine if stealing almost a million dollars from poor kids and disabled adults were actually a scandal! That would really keep the unfortunates busy.

  • tom c: I think they should find Cohen.

When they do, he won't be wanting to take the fall for this. He'll start singing like a canary.

Yes, I would like to find out how this supposed "brain cancer survivor" managed a board of directors seat at the National Cancer Center. And how he hasn't showed for any board meetings in a long while. What kind of human waste of flesh does Cohen think he is, pulling a fast one on something "supported entirely by the contributions of private American citizens. It is a non-profit, 50l(c)3 organization and does not receive any government funds. "

This is really sad considering how many cancer victims and families put their hope in a cure for various forms of cancer on state-of-the-art research.

And yes, this particular center does fund some deeply fundamental research on the causes and potential cures for cancer.

I would personally like to see him sing like a canary when they start asking about his "college diploma" and his miraculous recovery from brain cancer. That will be fun to watch him squirm. The amount of agony inflicted on hom will still be nothing compared to how much pain a leukemia victim has to suffer at the end of their life.

  • Hey Brian, perhaps you and Michelle Malkin set up a mug shot of Cohen so people would know what he looks like. Just in case if he's spotted in a Denny's restaurant at 2 AM in the morning.

Everytime Cohen is mentioned, produce a mug shot of him. It might actually speed up the process of locating MIA Cohen.
