Is Dan Rather himself the only person left who believes he's leaving CBS for reasons other than Rathergate? According to Drudge, even the internal management line is becoming brutally honest.

Drudge and others inside CBS ask why Rather took the day off. What timing! Maybe he couldn't look you in the eye and feel OK with himself.
